Roseville, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will close all lanes of I-494 this weekend as crews reconfigure the roadway for a traffic switch. All southbound traffic will be switched over to new pavement between Highway 7 and Highway 5 when the roadway reopens on Monday morning. The full closure will be in effect from 10 p.m. Friday, September 23 until 5 a.m. Monday, September 26.

All northbound I-494 traffic will be detoured at Hwy 62 to Hwy 169 and I-394.

All southbound I-494 traffic will be detoured at Hwy 7 to Hwy 169 and Hwy 62.
