As repairs and resurfacing wrap up this week on the Interstate 94 bridges near St. Michael, traffic will be restricted to a single lane late Friday night into early Saturday morning so crews can remove barricades and restripe the roadway. Clean-up will begin around 9 p.m. Friday on the eastbound bridge. Once all equipment and barricades are removed and the lanes are repainted, workers will move to the westbound lanes around 1 a.m. and repeat the process.
Both sides of the interstate and the entrance ramp from Highway 241 to eastbound I-94 will be reopened by early Saturday morning as the project shifts to the northbound Highway 101 bridge next week.
Traffic will be restricted to a single lane on northbound Highway 101 over the Crow River in Rogers beginning Tuesday evening, August 2. Weather permitting, repairs and resurfacing to the structure will be completed by late August.
