(Roseville, Minn.) — Motorists traveling on northbound Highway 52 between downtown St. Paul and Inver Grove Heights this weekend will encounter lane restrictions and ramp closures as resurfacing begins continues on the highway.
During this weekend's work, the northbound highway will be restricted to a single lane of traffic between I-494 and Concord Street from 7 p.m. Friday July 22, through 5 a.m. on Monday, July 25. Alternating ramps along the northbound highway will be closed when there is work nearby and drivers should use the next exit.
Message boards on Interstate 94 and on Highway 52 will alert the public to the project. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
Weekday repairs will continue each night along the four-mile stretch of Hwy. 52 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning, Sunday nights through Saturday mornings until the end of August. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane in each direction each weekday night with occasional short-term ramp closures along the length of the project.
