Roseville, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will permanently close Maxwell Ave. ramps to and from Interstate 494 westbound on Thursday, July 21. The detour from Maxwell Ave. to Interstate 494 westbound will direct traffic to the Bailey/Maxwell Bridge and on to the ramp to southbound Highway 61. Traffic will then be directed to westbound I-494 by way of a temporary connection to and from the permanent ramp. Motorists on westbound I-494 wanting to exit at Maxwell Ave. will have to use the Bailey Rd. exit and follow Bailey Rd. to Maxwell Ave.
