Location: I-494 between Highway 7 and I-394 in Minnetonka

Estimated start/completion: Full closures will begin at 10 p.m. and last until 5 a.m. on both Monday and Tuesday, July 11 and 12

Traffic impact: On the evening of Monday, July 11, southbound I-494 will be closed between I-394 and Highway 7 for setting concrete beams for the new bridge at Oakland Road. On Tuesday, July 12, northbound I-494 between Highway 7 and I-394 will also be closed for setting beams at Oakland Road. On Monday night, all southbound I-494 traffic will be detoured east on I-394 to Highway 169, south to Highway 7 and then west to I-494. On Tuesday, northbound traffic will be detoured east at Highway 7, north on Highway 169 to I-394, and then west to I-494.

Background: This work is part of a two-year, $136 million reconstruction of I-494 between Highway 5 and Carlson Parkway .
