(Roseville, Minn.) — Drainage, resurfacing and guardrail repairs begin Wednesday evening, July 13 on a four-mile stretch of Highway 52 (Lafayette Freeway) between Concord Street (Highway 156) in St. Paul and Interstate 494 in Inver Grove Heights. During the project, crews will work each night between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning, Sunday nights through Saturday mornings. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane in each direction each night with occasional short-term ramp closures along the length of the project.
Motorists will also encounter two weekends of single lane traffic from 8 p.m. Friday evening until 5 a.m. Monday morning during the project. At the same time, every other ramp will be closed to traffic. The two weekends have yet not been determined but signs will be posted in advance of the closures to alert motorists and an updated news release will be issued.
Weather permitting, the project will be completed by the end of August.
