Highway 77 (Cedar Avenue) Bridge Inspection begins May 23; lane closures expected

Roseville, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will begin inspecting the Highway 77 (Cedar Ave.) bridge spanning the Minnesota River in Bloomington between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday, May 23 through Friday, May 27, 2005. The inspection will begin on the northbound side of the bridge and will move to the southbound side. The left lane and shoulder will be closed in each direction during the bridge inspection. Motorists are advised to allow extra time and may experience delays. Mn/DOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN in the work zone and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
