Roseville, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close the southbound High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane on Interstate 35W between 66th Street and 82nd Street on Tuesday, May 17 at noon. It is scheduled to reopen Thursday, June 30 at noon. The closure is necessary so that crews can do restoration work on I-35W and work on the center bridge pier of the new 80 th Street Bridge. Two southbound lanes will remain open. The southbound HOV lane will be open south of 82nd Street .
