Roseville,
Minn. — Construction on a much-needed interchange at Highway 169 and Anderson Lakes Parkway/Bloomington Ferry Road is scheduled to begin April 4. Highway 169 will remain open during construction. The project is scheduled to be completed in November 2005.
"Our goal for this project is to improve safety, increase mobility and reduce congestion in this high-priority, interregional corridor,"said Wayne Norris, Mn/DOT west area engineer. "We are able to start on this project four years earlier than we had originally planned because Mn/DOT received Bond Accelerated Program funding to accelerate the completion of this project."
Please note: Preserve Village businesses and Bloomington Ferry businesses will remain open during construction. Detour signs will be posted to direct traffic to residential areas and local businesses (see attached detour map).
