Minn. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will CLOSE northbound and southbound Highway 100 beneath I-494 in BLOOMINGTON at 10 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2004.
The closure is necessary so crews can set bridge girders for the new westbound I-494 bridge over Highway 100.
Weather permitting, northbound and southbound Highway 100 will re-open by 5 a.m. Monday, October 17.
Mn/DOT recommends motorists follow the posted detours: Southbound Highway 100 traffic will be reduced to one lane before Highway 62. The detour will direct traffic westbound on Highway 62, southbound on Highway 169 and eastbound on I-494 back to Highway 100/Normandale Blvd. A single lane on Highway 100 will be kept open to south to West 77th Street, southbound will be closed at 77th. Northbound traffic will be completely shut down at West 84th Street. All traffic will be detoured to France Ave.
