Roseville, Minn.— Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) maintenance crews will repair a large pavement heave located across two lanes of westbound Interstate 94 on the west end of Minneapolis this weekend. Work will begin around 3 a.m. Saturday, August 28, to repair damage on the two outside lanes of the interstate near Broadway Avenue West. The damaged pavement will be removed and replaced with new concrete. Repairs should be completed by 12 noon.

During the repairs, the two left lanes of I-94 will be closed beneath the Broadway Avenue bridge between the exit ramp off the westbound interstate to Broadway Ave. and from the entrance ramp from Broadway Ave. to the westbound interstate.

In the event of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to another weekend.
