Roseville, Minn.— The ramp from westbound Interstate 494 to northbound Interstate 35W in Bloomington will close from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. this morning for an emergency bridge inspection of the 76 th street bridge over I-35W in Bloomington.

The bridge was struck by a backhoe on a flatbed trailer Monday night, damaging five of the bridge girders.

Motorists should take alternate routes to avoid congestion and to reach their destinations.
