Roseville, Minn.— Resurfacing of Interstate 394 between Highway 100 and Interstate 94 will resume the next two weekends in Golden Valley and Minneapolis . This weekend, eastbound Interstate 394 will be closed and detoured from 8 p.m. , Friday, August 6, through 5:30 a.m. , Monday, August 9. Weekend work includes resurfacing of the interstate along with all ramps and loops along the interstate in the same area. The ramp from Highway 100 to eastbound I-394 also will be closed. No other ramps or loops will be closed.

During the work, eastbound motorists will detour on the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes. The entrance into the HOV lane is a single lane, but once traffic enters there are two lanes of traffic. Drivers are advised to take alternate routes to avoid significant delays.

Westbound I-394 will remain open throughout the weekend. Work on the westbound lanes in the same area is planned for the following weekend, August 13-15.
