Roseville, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will CLOSE northbound and southbound Old Crystal Bay Road, south of Highway 12 in ORONO, beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16, 2004.

This closure is necessary to allow for the construction of a new bridge. The new bridge will span the new Highway 12/ Long Lake bypass, which is currently under construction. Old Crystal Bay Road should re-open to vehicle and pedestrian traffic sometime in November 2005.

Northbound Old Crystal Bay Road motorists will detour east on Watertown Road to Willow Dr., and back to Old Crystal Bay Road by way of westbound Highway 12.

Southbound Old Crystal Bay Road motorists will detour east on Highway 12 to Willow Dr., and back to Old Crystal Bay Road by way of westbound Watertown Road.

Pedestrians are advised to seek other routes during the closure.
