Northbound, Southbound Highway 100 to Close This Weekend as I-494 Work Continues

Roseville, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will CLOSE northbound and southbound Highway 100 beneath I-494 in BLOOMINGTON at 10 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2004 .

The closure is necessary for the removal of the old I-494 bridge over Highway 100.

Weather permitting, northbound and southbound Highway 100 will re-open by 5:30 a.m. Monday, July 19.

Mn/DOT recommends motorists follow the posted detour for southbound traffic: Highway 100 to westbound I-494, exit on Highway 169 to eastbound I-494 to southbound Normandale Blvd. exit. Northbound motorists should follow Highway 100 to 84 th Street to frontage Rd. to France Ave. , to westbound I-494 to northbound Highway 100 exit.
