Roseville,
Minn. Minnesota Department of Transportation maintenance crews will repair a large pavement heave located across two lanes of southbound Snelling Avenue (Highway 51) near the entrance to the Har Mar Mall. Work will begin around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, July 10. The damaged pavement will be removed and replaced with new concrete. Repairs should be completed by 12 noon.
During the repairs, southbound Snelling Avenue will be restricted to a single lane of traffic with no access to the mall. Northbound traffic will still be able to use the Snelling Ave. entrance into the mall, but will not be able to turn onto the southbound roadway. Other traffic movements in the intersection will be limited and motorists should watch for the closures. The west Snelling Ave. service drive also will be closed at the intersection during the repair work. Shoppers should use County Road B for access to the Har Mar Mall.
In the event of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to another weekend.
