(Roseville,
Minn.) Repairs and resurfacing of the eastbound High Occupancy
Vehicle (HOV) lane between Interstate 494 and Highway 100 through
St. Louis Park and Golden Valley will be completed early Saturday
morning. Work will then switch to the westbound HOV lanes starting
at Highway 100 and move west to I-494.
Beginning
next week, motorists also will encounter daily lane closures on
westbound I-394 in the area where crews are working. The moving
operation will continue progressing west toward I-494 each night
from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday night through Saturday morning.
Overnight single lane traffic will ease by morning rush hour but
sections of the left HOV lane on the westbound interstate will
remain closed west of Highway 100 as crews continue to repair
a sunken section of the interstate.
Drivers
should also watch out for daytime shoulder closures along I-394.
The
reversible I-394 High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane also will continue
to close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day between Highway 100 and
downtown Minneapolis for repairs and resurfacing.
Weather
permitting, the project will be completed by mid-August.
