Roseville, Minn.— As reconstruction of Interstate 94/694 continues in Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center and Maple Grove, the ramp from northbound Highway 169 to eastbound Interstate 94/694 in Brooklyn Park will close at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2. At the same time, the loop from eastbound I-94/694 to Boone Avenue and the eastbound ramp from Boone Ave. to the eastbound interstate also will close.

Motorists should follow the signed detours during the closures.

The ramp from eastbound I-94/694 to southbound Hwy. 169 remains closed, but is expected to reopen to traffic early next week, weather permitting.

Traffic was switched to the new eastbound lanes of the interstate between County Rd. 81 and Brooklyn Blvd. and the on-ramp from County Rd. 81 to the eastbound roadway opened last Thursday evening, May 27.

Completion of the entire I-94/694 between the Mississippi River and the interchange with I-494 (Fish Lake Interchange) is slated for November 2004..
