HIGHWAY 100 CLOSURES SET FOR FRIDAY,
INDIANA AVENUE CLOSES PERMANENTLY,
FRANCE AVENUE TO REOPEN

     

Roseville, Minn.— The connection between Indiana Avenue and Highway 100 in Brooklyn Center will close to traffic permanently on Friday afternoon, May 21. Motorists using Indiana Ave. will be able to reach Highway 100 by way of 50th Ave. for the next three weeks as paving of the final section of Highway 100 continues at 50th Avenue. After paving is completed, Mn/DOT will announce the final route for drivers on Indiana Ave. to reach Hwy. 100.

Weather permitting, France Avenue at Highway 100 will reopen also on Friday afternoon, May 21.

Reconstruction and widening of Highway 100 from Twin Lakes Narrows to 50th Avenue in Brooklyn Center began in the summer of 2003 and is scheduled for completion in June of 2005.
