Roseville, Minn.—The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT), in partnership with Carver and Scott Counties, has prepared a Scoping Document (SD)/Draft Scoping Decision Document (DSDD) for a proposed improved Minnesota River crossing that would connect Highway 169 in Scott County to the new Highway 212 alignment (north of the existing Highway 212 corridor) in Carver County. The SD/DSDD identifies issues associated with the project and alternatives to be studied in a tiered Environment Impact Statement (EIS).
Written comments on the SD/DSDD must be submitted by 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2004. Comments or any questions on the project must be submitted to Brian Isaacson, Principal Planner, Mn/DOT-Metro District, 1500 West County Road B2, Roseville, MN 55113; 651-582-1659; fax: 651-582-1020; email: brian.isaacson@dot.state.mn.us

Mn/DOT project staff will be available to provide information about the project and to answer questions.
