Roseville, Minn.—Spring cleaning of the Interstate 94 Lowry Hill tunnel near downtown Minneapolis will require overnight lane closures early next week. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will close the I-94 Lowry Hill tunnel for cleaning overnight on Monday and Tuesday, April 26 and 27.

Work will begin inside the eastbound tunnel, from 10 p.m. through 5:30 a.m. on Monday. Motorists will be detoured to the Hennepin Ave. Hazardous Vehicle exit during the overnight hours.

The westbound tunnel will be cleaned the following evening from 10 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. Motorists will be detoured to the Dunwoody Blvd. Hazardous Vehicle exit during the overnight hours.
