Short-Term Highway 169 Ramp, Shoulder and Lane Closures Take Effect Jan. 28

Roseville, Minn.—The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will conduct short-term ramp, shoulder and lane closures Jan. 28 as crews clear snow from bridges and storage areas along Highway 169 in the southwest metro area.

Crews will begin on northbound Highway 169 at I-494 in BLOOMINGTON and work toward Highway 55 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Jan. 28. If crews complete the northbound segment on Jan. 28, they will work on the southbound segment Jan. 29.

If crews are unable to complete the northbound segment on Jan. 28, they will complete it on Jan. 29 and begin the southbound segment between the two points Jan. 30.

Mn/DOT urges motorists always to drive with caution, reminds them to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER to enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones. For updated statewide traffic, construction and travel information visit www.511mn.org.
