Roseville, Minn.—The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will reduce to a single lane eastbound I-494 between Highway 5 in EDEN PRAIRIE and Highway 169 in BLOOMINGTON at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2.

The lane closure is necessary as crews prepare to shift traffic onto the new eastbound lanes between the two points.
Motorists also are advised of short term and intermittent lane and loop closures between the two points.

By 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, eastbound I-494 will re-open to two lanes of traffic, and all short-term, intermittent ramp and loop closures will be concluded.

Mn/DOT urges motorists always to drive with caution and reminds them to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones. For updated statewide traffic, construction and travel information visit www.511mn.org.
