Roseville, Minn.—The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will re-open the loop from SOUTHBOUND Highway 169 to EASTBOUND I-494 in EDEN PRAIRIE and EDINA by 1 p.m. today.

The loop had been closed since Summer 2003 and is part of the larger I-494 reconstruction project, the addition of a third eastbound and a third westbound lane between Highway 212 in EDEN PRAIRIE and France Ave. in RICHFIELD/BLOOMINGTON.

Mn/DOT urges motorists always to drive with caution and reminds them to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones. For updated statewide traffic, construction and travel information visit www.511mn.org.
