Northbound, Southbound Highway 100 Lane Closures Take Effect, Possibly Through Weekend

Roseville, Minn.—The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) has closed the left lane of northbound and southbound Highway 100 between Excelsior Blvd. in ST. LOUIS PARK and 50th St. in EDINA.

The lane closures are necessary as crews remove and replace the guardrail separating the northbound and southbound lanes of the roadway.

The project is scheduled for completion by Oct. 31, but forecasted rain may delay the lanes' re-opening until some point during the Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 weekend.

Mn/DOT urges motorists always to drive with caution and reminds them to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones. For updated statewide traffic, construction and travel information visit www.511mn.org.
