Minn. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT)
will reduce northbound and southbound Highway 61 to a single lane,
from Carver Ave. in St. Paul to 20th St. in Newport, on two consecutive
weekends. The lane closure will be enforced from 7 p.m. Friday
to 5 a.m. Monday and will occur the weekends of Sept. 26 through
Sept. 29 and Oct. 3 through Oct. 6.

Maxwell Ave. to Bailey Rd. The loop from westbound I-494 to southbound
Highway 61 will be closed, as will the loop from eastbound I-494
to northbound Highway 61.
The
restrictions and lane closures are necessary to remove the center
median barrier between I-494 eastbound and westbound over Highway
61.
Motorists
are advised to seek alternative routes if possible.
