Roseville,
Minn.The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT)
will reduce northbound and southbound I-35W to a single lane between
Highway 36 in ROSEVILLE and Stinson Blvd. in MINNEAPOLIS at 9
p.m., Sept. 22.
Weather
permitting, southbound I-35W will re-open permanently by Sept.
22, although motorists may expect occasional short-term non-rush
hour lane or shoulder closures as crews finish striping the northbound
lanes of roadway.
Weather
permitting, the closed lanes will re-open by no later than 5 a.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 23.
Crews
had hoped to be completed with the southbound portion of the project
the morning of Sept. 22, but weekend rains pushed back the re-open
time.
Northbound
I-35W traffic will be reduced to a single lane again at 9 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 23. Weather permitting, the closed lane will re-open
by no later than 5 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24. Crews hope to have
the northbound portion completed by Sept. 27.
