Roseville, Minn.—The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will close the ramp from northbound I-494 to Highway 55 at 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14.

Weather permitting, the ramp will re-open by 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour route during the closure.

In addition, all ramps at the I-494 and Highway 55 interchange will be closed intermittently between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16 as crews finish resurfacing them.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes between those hours.

These ramp closures are part of the larger Highway 55 resurfacing project from
Old Rockford Rd. to I-494.

Mn/DOT urges motorists always to drive with caution and reminds them to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones. For updated statewide traffic, construction and travel information visit www.511mn.org.
