Roseville,
Minn. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT)
will reduce southbound I-35W to a single lane from Highway 36
in ROSEVILLE to Stinson Blvd. in MINNEAPOLIS at 8 p.m. Monday,
Aug. 4.
This
lane closure is necessary as crews plane the concrete they've
repaired recently and is part of the larger I-35W barrier, guardrail
and road surface rehab project begun on June 16 between the two
points.
Weather
permitting, the lane will re-open by 5 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5.
The
entire I-35W concrete repair and center barrier project from Stinson
Blvd. to Highway 36 is scheduled for completion by Sept. 21, weather
permitting. As a reminder, crews will suspend work on this project
during the Minnesota State Fair, Aug. 21-Sept. 1.
Mn/DOT
urges motorists always to drive with caution and reminds them
to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER enter a roadway that has
been blocked with barriers or cones. For updated statewide traffic,
