Roseville,
Minn. Repairs and rehabilitation of bridges on Highway 10
in the city of Anoka resumes Monday, August 4. Work on the two
bridges that carry Highway 10 traffic over the BNSF Railroad tracks
at 7th Avenue began in mid-June and was completed before the July
4th holiday weekend. Rehabilitation of the two bridges on Highway
10 over the Rum River at Ferry Street (Highway 47) was delayed
until after the Anoka County Fair, which finished last Sunday,
July 27.
During
the project, traffic will be restricted to a single lane in each
direction on Highway 10 at the Rum River. The ramps from westbound
Highway 10 to Ferry Street and from Ferry Street to eastbound
Highway 10 will be closed for work on the outside lane and shoulder
of the highway. The ramps will reopen to traffic around the middle
of August once work is completed on the outside lanes of the bridges.
Weather
permitting, the entire project will be completed by 12 noon on
Friday, August 29 before the start of the Labor Day weekend.
