Highway 280 Ramp to Re-Open July 29

Roseville, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will re-open the ramp from northbound Highway 280 to northbound I-35W and eastbound Highway 36 in ROSEVILLE on Tuesday, July 29 in time for the morning commute.

In addition, the loop from southbound I-35W and Cleveland Ave. to eastbound Highway 36 also will re-open July 29 in time for the morning commute.

These closures were necessary as crews made repairs to the concrete roadway surfaces and guardrails, and were part of the larger I-35W concrete repair project from Stinson Blvd. to Highway 36.

The entire I-35W concrete repair and center rail project from Stinson Blvd. to Highway 36 is scheduled for completion by Sept. 21, weather permitting. As a reminder, crews will suspend work on this project during the Minnesota State Fair, Aug. 21–Sept. 1.

Mn/DOT urges motorists always to drive with caution and reminds them to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones. For updated statewide traffic, construction and travel information visit www.511mn.org.
