Roseville,
Minn. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT)
will close EASTBOUND Highway 62 (Crosstown) from Highway 100 in
EDINA to I-35W in MINNEAPOLIS at 8 p.m. Friday, July 18 as crews
re-pave this portion of the roadway.
Weather
permitting, eastbound Highway 62 will re-open by 6 a.m.
Monday, July 21.
Motorists
are advised to follow the posted detour route during the closure:
southbound Highway 100 to eastbound I-494 to northbound I-35W.
Motorists
will not be able to reach northbound Highway 100 from eastbound
Highway 62 and must follow the posted detour (southbound Highway
100 to 70th St. or 77th St.).
Mn/DOT
urges motorists always to drive with caution and reminds them
to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER enter a roadway that has
