I-94/694 to be Reduced to a Single Lane
on Two Consecutive Nights This Week


     

Roseville, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will reduce eastbound and westbound I-94/694 from Brooklyn Blvd. to County Road 81 in BROOKLYN PARK to a single lane at 10 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2003 and again at 10 p.m. Friday, July 11.

Weather permitting, the eastbound lanes will re-open at 5 a.m. Friday, July 11, and the westbound lanes will re-open at 6 a.m. Friday, July 11. On Saturday, July 12, the eastbound lanes will re-open at 5 a.m., and the westbound lanes at 6 a.m.

The lane closures are necessary as crews continue to work on the Zane Ave. Bridge, currently under construction.

Mn/DOT urges motorists always to drive with caution and reminds them to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones. For updated statewide traffic, construction and travel information visit www.511mn.org.
