Minn.Ongoing
work on the I-494 reconstruction project through BLOOMINGTON will
require the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) to
close northbound and southbound Highway 100 beneath
I-494 two consecutive nights this week.
Crews
will close northbound Highway 100 (Normandale Blvd.) at 9 p.m.
Wednesday, June 25 as crews erect beams for the new bridge. Northbound
Highway 100 motorists are advised to follow eastbound I-494 to
France Ave. in order to return to Highway 100 via westbound I-494.
Northbound Highway 100 will re-open to traffic by 6 a.m. Thursday,
June 26.
Crews
will close southbound Highway 100 at 9 p.m. Thursday, June 26
as crews continue to erect beams. Southbound Highway 100 motorists
are advised to follow westbound I-494 to Highway 169 in order
to return to Highway 100 via eastbound I-494. Southbound Highway
100 will re-open to traffic by 6 a.m. Friday, June 27.
These
closures will be rescheduled for Thursday evening, June 26 and
Friday evening, June 27 in the event of inclement weather.
