(Roseville, Minn.) — The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will CLOSE Hardman Ave. to all traffic under the Interstate 494 bridge beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, May 16, weather permitting. Hardman Ave. will reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2003. Traffic on I - 494 in not expected to be affected by this work.

Motorists who use Hardman Ave. are encouraged to use Concord Street (Highway 156) as an alternate route during this closure.

This closure is necessary to allow contractors to remove the outside portions of the I - 494 Bridge over Hardman Ave. so the bridge can be widened to accommodate improvements to I - 494 that are part of the Wakota project.

Mn/DOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN in the work zone and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones. Please join us in a safety partnership.
