Roseville, Minn.— Construction of a dual left turn lane to carry traffic from southbound Highway 61 to Lower Afton Road in St. Paul begins the week of May 11. During the project, the existing left turn lanes will close and traffic will follow a signed detour along Carver Ave. to reach Lower Afton Rd. Motorists will also encounter occasional shoulder and lane closures. All other traffic movements will remain open throughout the work.

Revisions to the existing signal system at the intersections to handle the dual left turns will be needed when the turn lanes are built.
Anticipated completion of the project is in late June.
