Roseville, Minn.—Reconstruction of more than three and a half
miles of Interstate 94/694 between Zane Ave. and Highway 252 in
the cities of Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center begins Monday,
April 14. The two-year project includes resurfacing the interstate,
bridge repairs, and construction of new lighting and noise walls
along with expansion of the traffic management system.
During
the work, motorists should expect major delays and should watch
for lane closures and traffic switches. Detours will be posted
as needed throughout the project.
Completion
of the project is scheduled for mid-November of 2004.
