(Roseville, Minn.) - - The Minnesota Department of Transportation
(Mn/DOT) will begin installing a new traffic control signal system
at Highway 3 and Dakota County Road 46 (160th Street) in Rosemount
on Tuesday, April 8, 2003.
The
work project includes installing advanced warning flashers on
both sides of the intersection on Highway 3. These flashers will
appear several hundred feet before the intersection and are designed
to begin flashing shortly before the light at the intersection
changes to red.
Motorists
may encounter shoulder closures and possible lanes closures during
construction of the new traffic control system.
Mn/DOT
expects the project to be completed by May 23, 2003, weather permitting.
