Roseville, Minn.—Resurfacing, widening and repairs begin next Tuesday, April 1, on the Highway 61 bridge over the Gateway Trail in Maplewood.

The Gateway Trail is a bicycle and pedestrian path that passes beneath Highway 61 approximately one mile south of Highway 36.

During the work, traffic will be restricted to a single lane in each direction on the bridge as crews repair bridge joints, resurface the concrete deck and remove the sidewalk and rail from the structure.

Final completion of the project is scheduled before Memorial Day Weekend.
