Roseville, Minn.—The Minnesota Department of Transportation, Metro
Division, will reopen the exit ramp from 35E Northbound to Shepard
Road in St. Paul at 2 p.m. today.
The
closure was necessary so crews working on the Lexington Ave. Bridge
project could build temporary lanes and a temporary connection
to the Shepard Road ramp. The work is also in preparation for
moving traffic to the new portion of the bridge, which will also
occur some time in October.
This
overall project, which is replacement of the current Lexington
Ave. Bridge will be completed in 2004.
Mn/DOT
reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN in the work zone and NEVER enter
a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones. Please
join us in a safety partnership.
