(Roseville, Minn.) - The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will close eastbound and westbound I-94 inside the Lowry Hill tunnel for cleaning and maintenance beginning on Monday, Sept. 30, 2002.

Both directions of I-94 will close at 10 p.m. Sept. 30, Oct. 1 and Oct. 2 and will re-open to traffic at 5:30 a.m. each day between Oct. 1 and Oct. 3.

Eastbound and westbound I-94 traffic will be diverted to the Hennepin Ave. or "Hazardous Vehicle" exits during these overnight hours.

Mn/DOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER enter roadways that have been blocked with barriers or cones. Please join us in a safety partnership.
