(Roseville,
Minn.) - The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will
CLOSE northbound and southbound Highway 100 between 36th Ave.
N. in ROBBINSDALE and County Road 81 in ROBBINSDALE at 8 p.m.
MONDAY, Sept. 23, 2002.
The
closure is necessary as crews pour the concrete deck (roadway
surface) of the new 42nd Ave. bridge that will span Highway 100.
Weather
permitting, Highway 100 between these two points will re-open
by 6 a.m. TUESDAY, Sept. 24, 2002.
The
new Highway 100/42nd St. interchange is scheduled to re-open in
November 2002.
Mn/DOT
suggests motorists follow the posted detour during the closure
from northbound Highway 100: Exit at 36th Ave., go east to County
Road 81 and follow County Road 81 north (west) back to northbound
Highway 100. Southbound Highway 100 motorists are advised to follow
County Road 81 south (east) to 36th Ave. and 36th Ave. west in
order to return to southbound Highway 100.
