(Roseville, Minn.) - The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will CLOSE northbound and southbound Highway 100 between 36th Ave. N. in ROBBINSDALE and County Road 81 in ROBBINSDALE at 8 p.m. MONDAY, Sept. 23, 2002.

The closure is necessary as crews pour the concrete deck (roadway surface) of the new 42nd Ave. bridge that will span Highway 100.

Weather permitting, Highway 100 between these two points will re-open by 6 a.m. TUESDAY, Sept. 24, 2002.

Mn/DOT suggests motorists follow the posted detour during the closure from northbound Highway 100: Exit at 36th Ave., go east to County Road 81 and follow County Road 81 north (west) back to northbound Highway 100. Southbound Highway 100 motorists are advised to follow County Road 81 south (east) to 36th Ave. and 36th Ave. west in order to return to southbound Highway 100.

Mn/DOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER enter roadways that have been blocked with barriers or cones. Please join us in a safety partnership.
