Roseville, Minn. - The Minnesota Department of Transportation, Metro Division, will close the entrance ramp from Highway 13 to I35E northbound in Lilydale on Tuesday, Sept. 3, beginning at 5 a.m..

This closure should be in place until Oct. 15. The recommended detour is I35E south to Hwy 110, east on Hwy 110 to I35E northbound. In addition, last week, Mn/DOT closed the ramp from 35E northbound to Shepard Road. That ramp will remain closed for three to four weeks.

The closures are necessary so that crews working on the Lexington Ave. Bridge project can build temporary lanes and a temporary connection to the Shepard Road ramp. The work is also preparation for moving traffic to the new portion of the bridge.
This project, which is replacement of the current Lexington Ave. Bridge with a new one, will be completed in 2004.
