(Roseville, Minn.)--The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will begin repair to the Beach Road bridge over Highway 36 on Monday, August 12.

The bridge is west of Highway 95 and Highway 36. Beach Rd. traffic will be affected because of the bridge closure.

Northbound Highway 95 traffic will detour onto 5th Ave. N. to Stagecoach Trail to 47th St. N. and right onto Osgood Ave. N. to Highway 36.

On and off ramps at Highway 36 and Beach Rd. will remain open during bridge construction. Local residents previously crossing Highway 36 at Beach Rd will now cross at Osgood Ave. during the construction period.

Weather permitting the project will be completed by the end of August.

Mn/DOT urges motorists to drive with caution, reminding them to SLOW DOWN in the work zone and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
