(Roseville,
Minn.)--The
Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will close Highway
97 approximately two miles east of Highway 61 in Forest Lake the
weekend of Aug. 3 and 4, 2002 as crews replace the culvert beneath
the roadway.
Eastbound
traffic will be detoured off of Highway 97 along Highway 61, County
Road 50 (202nd St.), and County Road 15 (Manning Trail). Traffic
will then return to Highway 97.
Westbound
traffic will follow the same detour, and the entire detour route
will be marked with signs indicating the road closure beginning
the week of July 28.
Mn/DOT
urges motorists to drive with caution, reminding them to SLOW
DOWN in the work zone and NEVER enter a roadway that
has been blocked with barriers or cones.
