(Roseville,
Minn.)--Reconstruction of nearly nine miles of shoulder along
east and westbound Highway 10 from just west of Thurston Avenue
in Anoka to Foley Boulevard in Coon Rapids begins Monday, July
29.
Work
will begin on the eastbound lanes starting west of Thurston Ave.
During the work, motorists will encounter nighttime single lane
closures between 8 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following
morning, Monday through Friday, on the eastbound highway until
mid-August.
Once
paving of the eastbound shoulders is completed, work will begin
on the westbound shoulders near Foley Blvd. in Coon Rapids and
move toward Thurston Ave. in Anoka. Crews will work weeknights
from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning. Drivers will
again encounter single lane closures in the area being worked
on.
Weather
permitting, shoulder reconstruction should be completed by August
30, before Labor Day weekend.
