(Roseville,
Minn.)--The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will
continue resurfacing I-494 from Highway 55 in PLYMOUTH to westbound
I-94 in
MAPLE GROVE at 9 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2002.
Motorists
will expect northbound lane and ramp closures between the two
points until
5 a.m. Friday, June 7 as crews remove the old roadway surface.
All
NORTHBOUND lanes of I-494, as well as entrance ramps and loops,
will be CLOSED between 9 p.m. June 7 and 5 a.m. June 10, weather
permitting, as crews resurface and paint lane markings on the
roadway.
Northbound
I-494 motorists are advised to use the following detour during
the northbound closure: eastbound Highway 55 to Northbound Highway
169 to westbound I-94/694.
A
similar closure occurred between May 29 and June 3 as southbound
I-494 was resurfaced between westbound I-94 and Highway 55.
