EMERGENCY REPAIRS CLOSE
STILLWATER LIFT BRIDGE JUNE 11 AND 12

(Roseville, Minn.) - Emergency deck repair will require closing the Highway 36/64 Stillwater Lift Bridge across the St. Croix River from 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 11 through 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 12. The entire bridge will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic during this time.

Crews will repair a hole through the deck on the westbound lane at the west end of the bridge. At the same time, crews will repair three expansion joints on the bridge and complete miscellaneous deck patching. The lift span will remain in operation during this time.

During the closure, motorists may detour south to Interstate 494 at Hudson, Wis. or north to Highway 243 at Osceola, Wis. to cross the St. Croix River.
