(Roseville,
Minn.) - The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) has
begun routine repair and painting of 16 bridges on I-694 from 10th
Street to Stillwater Boulevard in Oakdale. One lane of traffic will
be maintained on eastbound and westbound I-694 for four weeks in
each direction.
Westbound I-694
will be affected from I-94 to Hwy 36 for four weeks and past Hwy
61 for the last two weeks. This work will be done between May 29
and July 4. Eastbound traffic will be affected after July 4 from
Hwy 61 to 10th Street for two weeks and from Hwy 36 to I-94 for
an additional two weeks. The project will be completed by August
1, if weather permits.
Mn/DOT urges
motorists to drive with caution, reminding them to SLOW DOWN
in the work zone and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked
with barriers or cones.
