Highway 55 Ramp Closure Takes Effect May 20

Roseville, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will close the ramp from eastbound and westbound Highway 55 to southbound Highway 100 in GOLDEN VALLEY on Monday, May 20, 2002 after morning rush hour.

This ramp closure is necessary as crews continue to construct the new Highway 100 interchange at Highway 55.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour route during the closure: northbound Douglas Drive to eastbound Duluth St. to southbound Highway 100. Weather permitting, the ramp will re-open by June 10.

Mn/DOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER enter roadways that have been blocked with barriers or cones. Please join us in a safety partnership.
